This series of selfies shows Arkefly Airlines' 787-8, the first Boeing Dreamliner in the Netherlands, being welcomed by the RNLAF (Royal Netherlands Air Force) F-16 Demo Team.
The 2014-2015 RNLAF F-16 Demo Team is composed of personnel from the 323 and 322 Squadrons, based at Leeuwarden Air Base. The team consists of one display pilot, Captain Jeroen “Slick” Dickens, four display coaches, eight technical specialists, and a webmaster.
As the images show, the Boeing 787 was met by two Dutch F-16s in standard Quick Reaction Alert configuration. The pilots wore JHMCSs (Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing Systems) instead of the characteristic Demo Helmet.
